Sanggar Sinar Seli Asih has studied literature which created a new traditional creative dance with modern action. Tari Lenggang Bekasi tells about life of Kota Bekasi girls which are dynamic and multicultural. Basic of this dance is taken by combination of action from Betawi dance and salsa dance. It is accompanied by a Gambang Kromong music. The actions of Tari Lenggang Bekasi include geol , silat , kagok , and lenggang which have a meaning. The action of silat has toughness of Kota Bekasi . Meanwhile, the geol action has a meaning which can face challenge. The dance has an educational element and cultural wealth which can be known by people. The special costume of this dance is peacock feather.
